Sound Bank is a card-sized 12-key ROMpler that plays back one of factory programmed samples per each key-press.
It’s based on a LoFi Chinese-made chip designed for talking alarms and toys.

Sound Bank can play only one sample at once with speed/pitch adjustable with the PITCH/SAMPLERATE knob. The assigned sample starts playing as key is pressed and immediately retriggered if its key is pressed again before the playback is over. If another key is pressed before the previous sample is ended, it stops and a new sample starts. Playback can be interrupted by pressing the KILL key.

There are two LEDs: red as the power-on indicator and green is lit when any playback is active.

Sound Bank has a single headphones/line 3.5 mm jack output, a volume adjustment knob and a standard USB Type C power input.

CREATE YOUR OWN BANK!

Mad Sound Factory can load a customer-provided bank of samples on demand (free of charge).
Along with the order email you can attach (or put a link to the file uploaded to a long-term cloud storage such as Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) containing an archive containing 12 samples.
The sample format is PCM (WAV/AIFF), up to 16 bits, up to 20 kHz. Total time of all 12 samples should not exceed 200 secs)
All 12 files must be unambiguously named with plain numbers of their assignment keys, e.g.: 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav…
